The definition of "80's" seems to be particularly inclusive.

First off, there is so many great punk bands from the 80's, I won't even try. From Bad Religion to the Dead Kennedy's...great, raw stuff.

But then you also have some of the greatest Metal there is.

Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
early Metallica
Slayer

Indie greats, such as the Pixies, Talking Heads, Violent Femmes and Sonic Youth.

Classics, such as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Queen and Van Halen.

80's rule.

It took until post #27 for someone to mention Metallica...seriously?? I know they didnt come around until '83, but who rocked the 80's harder than them??? (Kudos to Beardown)
