That price is believed to be a record amount for a game-used college jersey, topping the $26,290 paid for a college jersey worn by Notre Dame legend and NFL Hall of Famer Paul Hornung.
The auction, at www.LSUauction.net, also includes a South Carolina helmet signed by former South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier and an LSU helmet signed by coach Les Miles. The jersey is signed by Fournette.
