List your top 5 receivers for next year. Don't make this about the last 3-4 years but predict the top 5 for 2015. I am interested in how many Lion fans still think CJ is a top 5 WR. Some names to ponder......

OBJ, AJ Green, Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, Antonio Brown, Demaryius Thomas, Jordy nelson, Randall Cobb, Alshon Jeffrey, Sammy Watkins, and Golden Tate.

In no particular order:

CJ, AJ, Dez, Demaryius(only bc Peyton ones back), and Julio.

Now they may not be the top 5 statistical, but these are my top 5 best in the league next year.

Top 5 WR next year (statistically speaking)
1. Julio................. (douglas probably gone and roddy seeing less targets last 2 years)
2. Antonio............. (next guy in line is wheaton, not much competition for targets there)
3. Jordy................ (cobb most likely gone leaving DeVante Adams as #2)
4. T.Y. ................ (reggie wayne gone should get a LOT more targets next year)
5. ODB ................ (cruz will be back next year from injury so ODB probably gets less targets)

Top 5 WR's as whole (talent wise-currently)
1. CJ
2. Dez
3. Julio
4. AJ
5. Demaryius

1)Julio
2)AJ
3)CJ
4)Antonio
5A) Dez
5B) Jordy

Dez and Jordy can swap out on the conditions of no Murray means more safety help and or Cobb leaves and Jordy sees safety help also.

Demarius belongs on that list... Just don't see the statistical magic of 2013 being repeated. The forehead's 18 year career will catch up on The ride into the sunset.

AJ CJ and Julio need to stay healthy to stay up high on this type of list.

Dez..... AJ, OBJr, Julio, DThomas.

That'd be my Top Five, right now, for Fantasy Next year. But Id take Calvin if he was on the board in the second no matter who was left.

But I honestly think Dez is the best receiver in football. I don't want DThomas, maybe if Denver signs Shaun Hill, but not if Osweiler is backing up Manning.

I love Antonio Brown, but the Stillers are going to fix their D, they aren't gonna be chucking it again like that anytime soon, IMO.

What makes you think Cobb leaves? I think he stays in GB.

AJ
TY/Antonio Brown
CJ
Dez/Demarius

Look for Julio to take over as the number 1 in the league. OBJ should still be effective next year and push to be in the top tier with these guys.

it was reported, per roto-world, that Cobb would be asking 9+M per yr. Whether it was former GM Wolf or even current GM Thompson, they were/are never afraid to let a player walk if asking price is deemed higher than they're willing to pay.

should another team offer Cobb that much, I don't see GB matching that. nothing more than that to base my opinion on.

1.) They call him Megraton
2.) Demaryius Thomas
3.) Julio Jones
4.) Dez Bryant
5.) A.J. Green

Alternates: Odell Beckham Jr., Antonio Brown, T.Y Hilton

Also, am I to assume, based on the original post, that you don't think CJ is even a top-10 WR in the NFL anymore? You listed 11 guys to "ponder" and his name was conspicuously absent. Couple that with your posts about him having peaked already, being almost 30, and being an injury risk going forward, and it would seem that you really don't have too high of an opinion on the guy...

Cobb is decent. Still a product of Aaron Rodgers. Much like Jordy. Both "above average" receivers who benefit from possibly the most accurate QB I've ever seen in my life. Rodgers makes their YAC, EASY!!

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Raida's throw a boatload of $$$ at Cobb now that they have Derek Carr. and they got a ton of $$$ to lure Cobb and Suh.

The Raiders do have the money and I expect them to be very aggressive in free agency.

This is one reason why the Packers have been so successful over the past two decades.

I know. I really can't hate. They are one of the best run teams in the business. They miss on draft picks here and there but rarely make mistakes in free agency. Peppers was their only head scratcher that I can remember.
