Walking into Nevada's Mackay Stadium in 2010 with the most loaded team Boise will ever have and crapping the bed in the second half and crapping the bed on a chip shot "game winning" field goal with no time left. Yes, they had Colin Kaepernick and finished 11th in the rankings that season, but that is no excuse. Elite teams do not lose those kind of games.......to Nevada no less. Embarrassing and gut wrenching on every level. The following season same story. "Game winning" chip shot field goal against TCU with no time left and end up shitting the bed again.

I'd put Mizzou's game against South Carolina in 2013 in any 'bad FG' conversation.

Actually, give me an extra event. The fifth down was also embarrassing although I think its more embarrassing to the refs

1. Head coach banning water breaks during spring workouts (lied about it afterwards), and one of our players dying from heat exhaustion because of it.

2. Losing 64-12 to USF in 2008. Our worst loss of the BCS era

3. The 2011 season. 5-7, 0-6 on the road. Lost to both FIU & UAB

4. Shutout 15-0 at home, on Senior Day. To UAB

5. Losing the 2005 Hawaii Bowl on a missed XP.

1. Not being relevant til the 90s.

a. 1st Rose Bowl appearance in 40 + years in 94.
b. 1st Rose Bowl win in 90 + years recently. The win obviously wasn't the embarrassing part, rather not winning one for that long of a period.

2. Oklahoma screw job on the on side kick.

3. Losing 3 games to Stanford that knocked the Ducks out of the NATTY during BCS era. The Cardinal have 4 wins vs Oregon this century. 3 listed above, the other kept Oregon out of a Rose.

4. The 2007-2009 trouble makers. 100 mph with weed smoke blowin out the windows, laptop theft, gf punching, multiple duiis.....

5. Getting blown out by Zona this season.

I think Willie Lyles could be on the list as well.

2. OU’s horrendous 1-3 record in BCS national championship games. Fucking ugly. And that isn’t cussing because even the preachers in Oklahoma say it’s “fucking ugly”.

3. Bob Stoops hiring his halfwit brother, Bob Stoops giving his halfwit brother big pay raises and Bob Stoops being unwilling to fire his halfwit brother for putting some of Oklahoma’s all-time worst defenses on the field. Does it take two halfwits to make a whole? If it does then Bob Stoops is the other halfwit.

4. Losing to Boise State Junior College in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. The day hell froze over.

5. Today is February 17, 2015. It has now been 5,159 days since Oklahoma won its last National Championship. That is absolutely unacceptable. (See #2 above.)

I'm too old to be embarrassed by the actions of 18-22 year old kids who may or may not be good at football, but the adults get to me sometimes.

I find the more embarrassing events to have been bad reactions by adults to actions of 18-22 yr old kids. Honestly if the most embarrassing things on people's lists here are stuff that happened on the field, either they just don't know or don't care about the off-field stuff.

That game put BSU on the map. And you wonders with the prestige and momentum it gave your program. You guys did a heck of a job building a program from almost nothing into one that had an argument that you should be included in the NC picture.
