I refused to put Maddux in there. Was the best Braves pitcher ever for most of his time there, but even though he played more games in a Braves uniform, padded more stats, garnered more wins, won more awards, won a World Series, & was more instantly recognizable....when he didn’t put the Braves logo on his cap on his hall of fame plaque, he lost me a lot there.

I don't give a shit about any of that, all I care about is how they performed on the field.

*But of course, with these lists, I only put people that I've witnessed while alive. Never understood how you can compare players before your time that played in a generation you didn't go through. Maddux, Glavine, and Smoltz dominated during a steroid era, which just shows their dominance.

and I'll add that Freeman is certainly working his way into this list. He's been so good, for so one, in a position that the Braves seemed to not go for longevity for.

You could use stats.

But I like your argument.

It is a fair assessment of your opinion.

I did. Reminded me of 3rd grade.

Huh? You're lack of understanding my simple 'theory' to saying the best Braves ever seems like you may have some issues in simple comprehension.

Certainly Hank is the greatest Braves player of all time, but when making a list such as this, I go for the players that I saw live and in person instead of going off what's written on the back of a baseball card.

Thanks for that extra special glimpse into your life.

You're not only a faggot, you're also an idiot!

Both Maddux and Smoltz belong on this list!
