I heard a similar question last weekend, but it was top 5. Either way, very tough. There have been so many.

All the B's...Brown, Bledsoe, Belichick, Brady, Bruschi

#1...Kraft. Hands down. He hit a foul with Carrol, but between Parcells and Belichick, he hit two over the monster.

#2. All my other fellow Patriots fans.

I'm not old enough to go back much past 1996. I understand that players like Stanley Morgan and John Hannah were great but I really don't have any context for it, so I'm going to leave them out knowing full well that they may be deserving.

For me, Brady is #1, hands down. If we're accepting coaches, Belichick is 1A. Past that, Troy Brown, Tedy Bruschi, Vince Wilfork, Rodney Harrison, Drew Bledsoe, Matt Light all deserve consideration from the modern era.

I'm 28~ 1996 was nearly 20 years ago.

So, in that gray area where I don't understand teenagers anymore, but I can still laugh off people who call me old.

Brady, Hannah, Tippett, and Haynes are probably the best four ever. Blesdoe, Coates, Bruschi, Seymour, Law, Morgan, Milloy, and Welker all come to mind as honorable mentions.

I'm old enough to remember Steve Grogan as a rookie. On a play where he was sacked by Jack Lambert, he got up, walked back to the Steelers line and spit on Jack Lambert. Grogan was no sissy! I have so many other favorites I don't want to make a list of 4 but it would have to include Brady, Grogan, Harrison, Bruschi.

The other end of the favorites list would be Tony Eason. Way too soft.

I'm too young to go too far past the Belichick era, so a lot of great players don't really get fair consideration, but Kraft, Belichick and Brady have been too influential to leave out IMO. The fourth probably goes to someone before my time.
