I went brouthers... just like others here I don't trust pre 1900 players, but Tony Perez only hit 30 or more HRs twice in his career... that doesn't make him a power hitter IMO... so when all is equal in comparison, Brouthers has the significantly better OBP, slugging and OPS... Plus he was 6'2 and over 200 pounds, I trust that he would have been at least a decent hitter in modern day baseball...
