Feel for ya. That had to be the worst pain I have ever had. Keep the drugs in your system. If ya wait till you feel bad to take them it's too late.

The weirdest part is that my shoulder hurts more than anything if I move it too much, and it doesn't seem like the pain killers do anything for that.

They told me it's because they inflate the belly with gas (nasty) to have room to work and it somehow seeps up to one shoulder or both and causes severe pain. I don't remember why though.

I forgot all about that. I do remember trying to walk out of the hospital to smoke a cigarette and I was so high I almost fell on my ass but my shoulder still hurt like a sob.

Well I am sure you are doing better. Sorry it happened to you, esp at such a young age.
I have been on diff. pain meds, morphine included and it is weird the way they work. They can stop certain types of pain but not touch a simple head ache. I am on a fentinyl patch now to control back pain from a car accident and several resulting surgeries. I had neck pain that morphine didn't help enough and the patch almost always handles it. But not a headache. lol Go Big Red

lol yeah surprisingly ibuprophen actually works for the shoulder. I only got morphine right after the surgery. That shit goes straight to your head it's crazy. If anything today has been worse than yesterday because all of the soreness has really set in. Also I can't fuckin' drink.
