What I love about it is that it contains so many characters that could have led the film alone, yet they all came to together as believable. Everyone was believable. When a movie has that, you get lost in it and that to me is what a movie should do.

I was curious so I went look.

The first Godfather movie was released in 1972. WOW ! 45 years ago !

If you watch it right now it is still on par with the newer movies in direction and cinematography.

I remember when it first came out. The only theater in town carried it for a few weeks.
I have never seen any of the Godfather movies.
