For our mutual whining purposes, this is what the list has been so far:
20. Marco Sturm
19. Teemu Selanne
18. Mike Ricci
17. Mike Rathje
16. Dan Boyle
15. Jeff Friesen
I don't really have a problem with any of those so far, but I think Reech should be in the top 10. As far as my top 3, I'd go with Nolan, Nabby, and then Marleau.
It really depends on what this list is based on tho, era, impact, previous careers before SJ, what they did in there time with SJ...
My top 3 would be Irbe, Makarov, Larionov... On the basis of they made the team something when they were surrounded by NOTHING... One could argue that Kelly Kiso should be up there to cause he had even less to work with then the 2 forwards I mentioned... I also wouldnt include Mike Rathje on this list, just because he was on the roster so long doesnt justify the fact that he never lived up anything close to his potential and was a bigger pansy then Thornton (insert arguement here)... Marleau #1 on a mock list?? NO way in hell, again, surrounded by talent, what has he done??

This list is idiotic. Did anyone else notice how they're just slotting guys based on their jersey number? Its one thing to have it happen once or twice, but so far its happened 3 times with Ricci (#18), Cheech (#14), and Baker (#13). Does this mean that Nolan's going to be #11? If Nolan isn't in the top 5 then this list is absolute garbage IMO.
I haven't been following very much but I did hear them talking when Rathje's name was revealed and the way they were talking, they made it sound like Suter will not be on the list. FWIW.
I vote for Link Gaetz. Just saying. :p
