1. Georgia: Still gotta go with Jawja. Not pretty, but you still have to beat them. Still have a shit ton of future NFLers on that roster.
2. Michigan. Tough, physical, in your face. Tough out. They can beat anybody.
3. Sooners. Found a defense this year. Not completely sold on the QB.
4. Penn State: Probably should have them higher. They have a young NFL QB that will get better. Lot of talent on this team and will only get better.
5. Texas: Beat Bama. Maybe OU is that good?
6. Bama. They are still really good. Will only get better as the year rolls along.
7. Washington: Struggling with this team. I think they are really good. Almost had at #2. I think that defense is legit, but dammit, the QB was questionable at Indiana.
8. Louisville: Why not? Handled a pretty good Notre Dame team that had Ohio State beat.
9. Buckeyes: Still have a lot of talent. First time in a while their QB is suspect.
10. Oregon/USC/Oregon State: Pac 12 is loaded this year. West coast is bringing it. Fun as hell conference in 2023, and a ton of must watch games coming.

No Florida State but Louisville? Yikes. FSU has wins against LSU at a neutral site and at Clemson. But sure let's put 2 teams with a loss ahead of them.

1. Georgia - When you are back to back national champs...you get to keep the #1 crown till someone beats you.
2. Michigan - They've been really consistent all year long...although a weak schedule can help with that.
3. Oregon - They just seem to be the most solid on both sides of the ball in the Pac 12. I think they fairly easily role through a tough Pac 12
4. Penn State - Penn State has dominated so far. We'll see how good they are when they play Ohio in a few weeks.
5. Oklahoma - I'm not sold on them yet, but they keep winning. Texas was a big win.
6. Texas - They crapped the bed against Oklahoma. I think they will get their revenge at seasons end.
7. Ohio - Haven't played all that well yet, but they are still undefeated. Penn State will be a good measurement.
8. Bama - I just can't count them out yet. They are like Mike Tyson in his later years. I always think they will return to dominance.
9. Washington: They've looked really good, but I think Oregon handles them easily this weekend.
10. FSU/Louisville/UNC: I just don't know who to choose out of the ACC yet.

Meh, as we all dislike Oregon due to 2006 they still show as a pretty solid balanced team so far this year. And I like keeping OU hungry for more.

You see Stutsman yesterday? The thing I liked the most was him saying they prepare to a standard, not a team.
