That sounds like a challenge to me!
I'll play if you run it LOL

I don't know that much about football though, I just don't see how you can compare a LB to a QB to a LT to a WR etc...

Idk. I have disagreed on some too. But saying that there is only one way to judge players is kind of missing the point of this. And if there was an actual well accepted rankings then why would every ranking be different. Every single one.

And sure some players feel too high. But odd thing is that every single rankings you find has similar players.

I have been stumping Koufax just to show that he does belong in question with the kershaw,Seaver, Gibson, Alexander and others.
I started this ignorantly voting Cy Young as the best player of all time. I thought "gee, everyone is voting Bonds, Mays and Ruth, why not pick an underdog?" I wasn't serious about actually looking at the players' careers to come up with a better representation. I just chose a recognizable name that wasn't getting many votes.
Then I started reading everyone's posts. People were taking this seriously. Having discussion. Presenting evidence of their picks. It got me motivated to start looking more deeply at players' stats and careers. I started looking at careers differently too. Posters shared how they measured careers and it influenced how I measured them too. It took some time, but I feel so much more educated on many players, including some I didn't know much about.
You've swayed me on some players. So has cal. And msgkings. And many other posters. I softened considerably on Cy Young, for example, and am okay with his spot in our rankings. However, the last few rounds have felt a bit more of a "shoot from the hip" in voting.
Yes, there are different ways to judge players but when I hear that a poll is based on who were the best, I'm thinking about their body of work and using the standards that the baseball world has generally used to measure their success. Yes, others will have different ideas on how to measure the best but that doesn't mean that they are right (nor that any of us are right) nor that I have to agree. Just like some can have an opinion that Koufax was the 28th best player in MLB history, I can have the opinion that him being placed here seems lazy.

Honestly, I agree that 30 is fine to end on. It’s normal that we are going to get less and less conversation. Especially because of the traffic.

Although the traffic is more on the pitching side. I do think the next offense has to be a 2b. Whichever one(i have Morgan).
