The thing is I like Henderson and DiMaggio in the top 20, I'm pro-feels here, so give the Griffey voters a break, this is a celebration of baseball nerdness not an algorithm. Numbers of course are the foundation but other stuff matters.

Griffey is getting votes for no known reason. Only one of his voters have posted a reason, and that reason was “He is a cool guy”. Sorry, I have no prob ridiculing that reason.

Henderson did not get voted because he was cool while talking in 3rd person. He made it because his skill set didn’t add to HIS baseball card. It added to his teammates’ baseball cards.
