Wow. I'm impressed with Ben and Isaac Redman. Incredible adversity in this one to overcome.

Very good showing from both of them today. Ben had a head-scratcher of a pick, but otherwise was excellent, especially in big situations. Redman was just unstoppable. The Giants had no answer for him.

But for me, it was the defensive backs of the Steelers who really deserve the credit. They were fantastic today.

I agree on comment about the DB's. Keenen Lewis especially. Other than a questionable PI call against him, he played a great game against some talented receivers.

Any time you get a chance to spend an NFL Sunday at the sports books at Caesar's and The Venitian, you've gotta take it.

And as an added bonus, NCAA Football and Breeder's Cup on Saturday. I thought I had a degenerate gambling gene or two, but man, I'm am ameteur compared to these guys.

And as a side note, I didn't see anybody taking NHL future bets.

The Cowboys were the sexy pick yesterday, everybody was picking them to pull of the upset. Always go against the betting public.

No wonder it was such a fun weekend at the sportsbooks in Vegas

Las Vegas sportsbooks took big beating in Week 9 of NFL season

Sorry for the Disney link, but Darren Rovell is a pretty legit reporter.

In my Pickem league this week (with the spread) I finished 11-3. Thats usually good enough to win for the week. There were 8 of us 11-3 and 3 people were 12-2.

It actually happens more than you realize. I have seen teams do this quite a few times now.

What exactly happened? Were they 'hiding' the player? I didnt watch the game.

Yeah, it was a trick play, but now I can't seem to find anything about other teams that have done something similiar to that....figures.

I think the Bills did this a few years back because the other team kept kicking it to the other guy the Bills had back there, and he laid down to trick them to kicking it to the other guy?

I don't know, I drink a lot during games over the past 10 years now. :noidea:

yep and they did a lateral pass to him and he ran it back for a touchdown... problem was the guy that received teh kick threw it to him and it was more a FORWARD pass so it was back to the 5 yard line and another Eagles loss.

during the game Vicks brother was going NUTS on twitter https://twitter.com/MVFive. he even Demanded that Michael Vick wanted a trade (he deleted that one)

wait, so this actually happened?

Almost time for the Bills to get splattered by the Patriots.

Prediction Pats 45 Bills 17. BOOK IT !!!

Edit: changed 42 to 45, the Pats will also get a FG.
