Ditka was going nuts over this, he said no way he should be playing what kind of example is that to kids out there. They also mention that he is a star so that makes a difference because they had the same situation last year with a back up line man and he did not play the next game. To me that's bullshit they should be treated the same.

49ers are a class organization, but it's the wrong decision for Aldon Smith to play today.
