If I'm a Bills fan, at least I can hang my hat on the fact Matt Leinart shouldn't play at all for the Bills this season, and if he does, well then it's hit rock bottom and there is only one place to go from there.

There are some craptacular teams in the CFL this year, I think the Bills would be dancing in the post-season.

Does that game in Toronto make them eligible?

At this point I'd take any type of playoff competition from the Bills.

This begs the question of whether or not the Buffalo could/would support a CFL team. Or is Buffalo too far down the list of CFL expanison cities?

Argos won the Grey Cup last year and still barely manage to get 20,000 down to the Rogers Centre to watch a game this season. With Ricky Ray on the shelf for six weeks, expect that number to drop.

/I think the fans in Buffalo would support a CFL team at least as well as Toronto.

it doesnt matter ... with the tsn broadcast deal and with "star" players making $45,000 per year, the cfl doesnt need to sell a ticket and they make a profit ... ECONOMICS ARE JUST LIKE THE NFL! (only 5% of their gross rev's though lol)

jstew is correct, although that still doesn't excuse some pathetic attendance stats in Hogtown.

Matt Leinart apparently cut already by the Bills. Apparently going 3 of 10 for 11 yards with 2 picks against the Lions backups isn't good enough to make a roster in the NFL.

Who knew? :noidea:

Somebody's still living in the past.

We punt from the opponent's 35 now instead of running the risk of missing those kicks. :gaah:
