Or teams will flinch at Carr's big demands and go for a cheaper option like mike white or daniel jones.

Or if they are picking top 15, grab one of the possible 4-5 QBs that will be taken.

I hope teams flinch on Carr's demands because that would definitely help with the QB market... With teams throwing money to Russell Wilson, Dak, Tannehill, Cousins, Goff, Murray etc... And then you have Lamar Jackson negotiating a new contract... Daniel Jones, Baker as well... It's all about how much a team values Derek Carr... I honestly would be surprised if he doesn't at least get 40 million a year with the way things have been going for QB's...

Looks like the Packers signed Bo Melton off our practice squad to their active roster...

Here is a list of FA"s for the Hawks... I'm not really excited about keeping any of these players to be honest... Geno, Penny, Neal would be the only ones i'd consider bringing back... Ford has been a disappointment... Haynes maybe for depth... I know you all don't want RP back but I think Penny could be brought back for around 2 million on a 1 yr contract ... I don't believe we've given up on him...

Speaking of OL, peter skoronski could be an option at our pick if he falls. He has egregiously short arms and probably ends up as a G.

According to Field Gulls if the Broncos lose to the Chiefs we are guaranteed to have a top 5 pick. That's pretty sweet. Hopefully they lose both games and the Bears win one and we get the No. 2 pick.

that Tie in Houstons record could really help the Hawks. They could end up with the same amount or wins as Denver but with the tie they end up with a higher winning percentage.

Seems unlikely that the Texans would win their last 2 games. Especially this weekend.

I think the No. 2 pick could definitely happen. Honestly if we get a top 3 pick, I would be thrilled. IMO, that would assure us that we would get one of Anderson or Carter as I would imagine the Texans would HAVE to go QB.

They played the cowboys and chiefs tough, its not out of the question they beat the jags though I am not expecting it.

they play the colts week 18 which looks very winnable. theres a good chance the bears end up with #1.

I would MUCH rather than the Bears win a game or two than the Texans as I think they are much more likely to grab Carter and/or Anderson. I think the Texans are drafting a QB no matter what.

If they do have #1, some stupid team might want to trade into it to grab their top QB. I could see the colts wanting to leapfrog the texans

The order is a little foggy if it fell that way so im not sure that would be possible or necessary

That's fair. I could see the Bears trading down if they got the No 1 spot especially if the Colts or Falcons fall in love with someone.

If the Broncos lose out, which I think they will, then we get at worst a Top 3. Which, in all honesty, would be fantastic. I REALLY want one of Carter or Anderson as they both seem like game changers which we haven't had on the defensive line since Bennett and Avril and neither of them were true elite defensive linemen.

Derek Carr jumping into the FA mix could hurt us here as well... For example, what if Houston decides to sign Derek Carr? Then they'd be in the mix for a defensive player possible? Or they could trade down and try to grab a WR... Obviously whoever traded up with Houston would do so to grab a QB... Who knows but I feel Carr being released (assuming the case) has shaken up the QB market quite a bit...

I don't see it quite that way. I can't see Houston going after Carr. They are still a few years away from being truly competitive. Carr is going to go to a team that is in win now mode. OTOH, Carr being on the open market is likely going to reduce the demand for Geno.

Houston already went on a bad Carr ride, highly doubtful they do it again.
I see them taking young and never looking back.

Seahawks could become first NFL team in 22 years to make playoffs and land a top-three pick in the NFL Draft

That was the results of the infamous ricky williams trade. The redskins actually had pick 2 and 3 that year.
