Right now, there is a full investigation underway and it is not a component of a criminal investigation but a fact-finding one. Tony has been fully cooperative and will continue to do so. This process will determine which legal route will develop, if any, based on the evidence gathered. We shall see where this goes.

This is what I saw. I don't follow nascar but I know Stewart is considered an asshole. There's no way he did anything to intentionally hit that kid. Idk what the kid was thinking walking out into the middle of a dirt track.

Stewart is an asshole, which I think is why this is such a story. Without seeing the video, I went to bed last night thinking he murdered that kid in a fit of rage. ESPN is going to wring every drop of sensationalism out of this that they can.

Everyone who works at the track knows the track proper is a live fire area, you are taking your life in your hands walking out onto the racing surface, there is no way in hell Tony Stewart attempted to hit or scare anyone, it's a shame and there will be way too much litigation in it's wake but life goes on.

ESPN is reporting that the DA and the investigation released a statement that there is no evidence gathered to support a criminal investigation, criminal charges, and no criminal charges are pending. Onward we go.
