Huge loss for Cowboys and now Dak is thrown into the fire. The only way I saw our Skins winning the division was if Romo got injured. Hate that it takes a injury on another team for our team to do better but heck Dak scares me. Our D-Line scares me and just hope we can contain him. I do wish Romo the very best and hope the injury heals fast and fully.

No one should cheer for injuries. But they are part of the game and, depending on the caliber of player who suffers them, they will definitely impact the team he's on the competition it faces.

The backstory to Romo's injury and how it will impact him going forward is the premature anointment of Dak Prescott as the new Cowboys franchise QB. Yes, he's looked good in pre-season and yes, he'll be playing behind one of the best o-lines in the game. But so did Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel. What he doesn't have is a quality defense behind him. That may put a lot more pressure on him to produce and, if so, that trial by fire may bump his learning curve far higher than the Cowboys brass may want to see.

First off...too bad for Romo. I don't wish injury on a lot of people other than assholes like Brady and criminals like Vick. For Romo's health, I do hope he hangs it up.

Secondly...I don't care about the Cowboys. Injuries are a part of football. This is a big one that really hurts Dallas and yes it helps us. I am all for helping us.

Lastly...Flair is an idiot. He made that statement after losing the title like 17 times, cheating his way to winning it 15 times, and he would have lost much more if disqualifications led to title losses. You are the best if you win the Super Bowl...end of story.

Dak Prescott looked admittedly pretty fookin' good in preseason. Then again, plenty of preseason wonders turn out to be busts when the real bullets start flying. The good news for the redskins is that they'll have the benefit of one game of tape to see what the Giants did with their newfangled DLine to try to trip up the rookie.
