If the Kings win in San Jose tonight, I will do a dance in my room - something's got to give - they haven't won there in three years now
Columbus jumping all over Carolina early: Up 2-0, less than 3 minutes in.
Just going to post the same thing about Columbus. This team is just killing it lately. Good to see them returning to last years form after a slow start this season.
If that Canes/Jackets game could end in regulation, that'd be greeeat
BJ's almost tied it there, come on Currolina hold on
...
By all accounts, Carolina was a beast last night and it's a miracle they held on as long as they did. Jackets didn't necessarily blow it from what I hear, more like lost their grip. ...
I see Cody Golubef only got 11 minutes of ice time. So they basically rolled five D again. Note to Richards; that doesn't work.
I'd call that accurate. Carolina started very slow, but eventually worked their way up into a gear that Columbus didn't match.
It's always a tough call, trying to decide how much time to give someone up from the minors. Too little & he learns nothing: Too much & he might blow the game for you.
Hurricanes are now 3rd place in the Metro. Crazy how there seems to be a new team in the 3rd spot on any given night. In this month alone, I believe the Flyers, Rangers, Capitals, Blue Jackets, and now Hurricanes have all held the 3rd spot at least once. Pretty much the entire division except for the Pens & Isles have held the 3rd spot it seems.
It's going to be one very stressful race after the Olympic break, not looking forward to it.
