I think the term "New Dork" is unnecessary. I understand that the Yankees and Red Sox have a rivalry, but I don't think that extends to the Bruins & Islanders.

The "New Dork" was an attempt at humor.

The Boston-New York rivalry does extend past Yankees and Red Sox. Other aspects of it don't get as much publicity
in the rest of the nation but it does I can assure you.

Rangers-Bruins have built quite a rivalry, one that goes back all the way to the 40's. May not be as significant now, but the hate between the 2 is still alive.
