WEEI.

Best sports radio on this planet
- Pats fans.

Heh. It seems to me that there are a lot of people who hate all the sports networks. Not entirely sure what they are expecting from the networks.

Seriously, how he lasted as long as he did, I'll never know.

I'm no Patriots fans, but the story of him saying in week 2 of 2003 that they hated Belichick, then after the Superbowl he told him "Great game coach." Belichick's response: "Fuck you."

Just hilarious!

LOL It was downhill from there..

ESPN officially shit the bed with their on screen personalities when I tuned into College Football Final on a late Saturday evening in September 2015 and found it to be the worst show ever created.

Yet they somehow still tout around Chris Berman...

These guys should all go to FOX, then FOX should wake up and actually create interesting shows and try to get more sports then just NASCAR and MMA to air.

He's a dewshbag, good riddance.

Oh wait, I don't watch ESPN because of assholes like Tom Jackson, what the fuck do I care?

Just an honest question...What sports analyst/on tv personalities do you like?

Jim Nance does OK without getting in the way. Dan Fouts is easy for me to listen to. Andy Brickley (color guy for the Boston Bruins is good but our play by play guy is a flake and makes the broadcast virtually un-listenable.

There are other guys that call or comment on games that are fine by me, but the in studio guys (pre & post game) are generally lunk heads. I do not watch any of it anymore and I haven't for quite a while. I won't even watch the half-time or between periods stuff anymore.

Jackson was ok as long as he was not talking about the Cowboys he was objective but he was like somebody crapped in his Wheaties when talking about the Cowboys. Everything was negative

C'ya Tom enjoy your time on the golf course

Haven't watched a pre-game or post-game show in a long time, and the halftime shows are gone in a blink. I watch the games and the red-zone channel, no need for the rest.

I'm not sure why I would need a pre-game show to tell me how a game will be played and then a post-game show to tell how it was played.

Understand that. Honestly with you on not really liking many of them out there as very few actually want to talk about football but would rather talk about some drama issue going on within a team. I've gotten much more into local analyst/radio guys as I know they can be a bit homerish but at the same time they actually know the players/coaches/team and will spend a great deal of time talking football and the little details that many fans just don't know about.

It's perfect fodder for my pre-game sessions on my elliptical unit.

Out here on North America's Best Coast game day starts at 7 AM.

Finishes around 8-9 PM.

A full day. Especially if you have Sunday Ticket. Which I do.

The only post game show I ever gave a fuck about was Berman and Jackson. Primetime.

But I like the early AM warm up to kill time.

Unless I'm squeezing in an F1 race or something.

The point of the pre-game is to get you pumped up for the games. I'm fine with that although I don't watch them near as much as I used to.

I actually saw Tom Jackson at a resort after football season but who cares right?

I thought he was average at his best. At his worst.. (i.e. they hate their coach) he was a hack.
