Niners have brought back Tom Gamble and named him Senior Personnel Executive.

Baalke has overall done a good job as GM, but my concern is other top notch coaches (should Tomsula flop - I hope not of course) are probably not going to want to come to the Niners as long as he's there holding all the cards and more. Maybe Gamble serves as that buffer/mediator between GM and coach in the future?

Some say Gamble was a big part of those prior successful drafts. Hopefully, he at least help with drafting some really great players.

Draft hasn't been our weakness so this just adds strength to this department.
