Because you know for sure there is a field goal attempt and not a mistake for holding the ball too long. Plus, wouldn't you agree that it's a microcosm of his overall play? He has trouble figuring out when to throw it away and live for another down.

Taylor has played like COMPLETE SHIT tonight.

But, I don't see how he made a bad decision there. First off, Caputo snapped the football without Taylor telling him to.............second off, it was 3rd down. So throw it away to give Maher a closer field goal attempt?

It was a good decision.
