One of my best memories of my time at York was when he came and spoke in chapel. When he ran for governor (he was still a Senator or whatever), I tried convincing those who could vote not to vote for him because we needed a guy like him in DC. Of course, he became the AD after that.

He is definitely one of those guys everybody should respect.

I just figured he didn't spend near as much as his competitors on campaign ads bashing the others. Most of his were about what he has done and would do as governor and not what that guy said and didn't do. He had a few, but not near as much or often as his competitors.
