Jarrett Boykin lead all Green Bay receivers with 5 catches for 63 yards. Entered the game in the start of the 2nd quarter so i assume he was working with the 2nd team. Definitely seems like they're tryin to get a good look at him and he's making the most of his opportunity.

A good sign for Tyrod:

The team doesn't know what to make of quarterback Curtis Painter, who is battling Tyrod Taylor to be the top backup. He has looked awful in training camp. At times, he was completing more passes to the defense than his wide receivers. Then, in the first preseason game, Painter threw three touchdown passes.

Full article, its mostly useless unless you like the Ravens

The game TDs came against the scrubs of the scrubs so I wouldn't read too much into it.
So basically, if Tyrod can simply make it onto the field while breathing, he'll be the #2 QB.

FOX is actually showing the Ravens game tonight @ 8pmEST.

Anyone heard how Grimm is doing? Read in a magazine that he broke his leg at the end of last season?

He is about to be cut.

EDIT: Just noticed the date that was posted. He got hurt again in 2011 and now he is 3rd string SS, but I dont think he makes it past the 2nd cut down.

Curtis Painter was PAINFUL to watch last year for Indy. If I remember correctly, the only reason he is at Bmore now and vying for the #2 spot, is because Indy's QB coach came to the Ravens. I would expect TT to be the backup by the time the season starts

Tyrod not looking too well passing the ball. Ryan Williams just had his first carry in a year.

The good: Ryan Williams scored a TD. 5 carries, 25 yards.

The bad: Tyrod played poorly. 7 carries for 60 yards but just 8-22 and 65 yards passing. While some of his receivers dropped some catchable passes, he also overthrew numerous passes. From what I could tell, his reads were ok, he just missed the passes. A real shame because he got a lot of action, basically 2 full quarters (half of 2nd, all of 3rd, half of 4th). The only plus is Painter wasn't much better (10-20, 86 yards with an INT)

I was surprised Tyrod wasn't more accurate, but there were some dropped passes in there.

With the Giants averaging a solid 1.3 yards per carry, I figure they'd be silly to not give their first round pick a shot in the game at some point. It'd be tough to do worse.
