Illinois beats Iowa on last second shot.

We are at worst the #5 seed in B1G tourney. I am not sure what tiebreaker would be if we tied Ohio State for 4th since split season series 1-1.

Tie-breakers go to the team that won the last game in the series

Thus, Nebraska owns the breaker over Ohio State.

If more than 2 teams are involved then other measures are taken.

Nevermind.....Big 10 changed their rules.

If two teams tie in Conference play, then they go to head-to-head record to see if one has the advantage.

If the two teams split games in the regular season, then they start at the top of the Conference standings and see how each team did against the competition....starting at #1 and then moving down the line until one team gains the advantage.

So for instance, neither team beat Michigan, so automatically it moves on to the next team.

If Nebraska loses tomorrow and Ohio State wins, then the next team in line would be Wisconsin at #2......Ohio State will win the tie breaker beings that they have beat Wisconsin this season and Nebraska will have not.

We can wrap up a first round bye 1 of 2 ways tomorrow...

If Ohio State loses @ 3:30 on CBS to Michigan State, then we can win or lose to Wisconsin and we finish 4th.

If we win tomorrow @ 6:30 on BTN......it doesn't matter what anyone else does, we will finish 4th.

He had Nebraska's record as 17-12
