I think we can make quite an evaluation based off of what happens next season. This is the first year a Pelini defense has struggled consistently throughout the entire year.

We'll see what adjustments are made next year. If we come back next year with a more disciplined defense (even with the loss of David and Dennard) I think we'll be more successful.

I'll be honest..........our offense really put our defense in a bad place.

Michigan - 41:13
Nebraska - 18:39


That is fucking ridiculous...........and that is all on our offensive line. Couldn't establish a running game because they were getting knocked on their asses the entire game.

When you put your defense on the field for 40+ minutes.......it's never gonna turn out good.

The last 2 season's Bo's thrown the Defense under the bus when coming up short. While in my opinion the defense was at championship caliber level the last 2 season's, while the offense sucked ass. This year it was the offense's job to keep the defense off the field. It was an epic failure.
I don't think Taylor's got the attributes to take this team too the next level.

Yea that would help, but it wasn't like Michigan was milking the clock.......they were going up tempo.

At one point in the 4th quarter the announcer made the point that Nebraska hadn't converted a 3rd down yet in the game.........did we end up converting a 3rd down??

I know we ended up with 5 first downs.

Sorry, but time of possession is more on the offense in this case.

They also get tired getting hit in the mouth over and over again and letting michigan methodically drive down the field. There was no change in the level of play from our defense. From the first snap to the last they fucking sucked.
