I thought Immortals sucked to be honest. I watched the Grey last night and thought it was ok.
I'd give it atleast 6/10

Stringer is a bad bad man, for sure....

I still think the scene when McNulty and Bunk are checking out the room where a bullet came through a window and killed a kid, but only speaking to each other with the words "mother fucker" & "fuck" is one of the greatest scenes in TV or film history.

LoC, you are the movie guru, so I want to run a few by you where I disagree with the majority of people, or where I just do not think that they got the pop that they deserved:

Ronin - found it fantastic and the characters very appealing

Alpha Dog - expected to hate it and actually really liked it

Jacob's Ladder - Tim Robbins usually annoys me but this movie is one of my all time favorites

GATTACA - like it but it may be the scientist in me

No Country For Old Men

Anton Chigurh: Don't put it in your pocket, sir. Don't put it in your pocket. It's your lucky quarter.
Gas Station Proprietor: Where do you want me to put it?
Anton Chigurh: Anywhere not in your pocket. Where it'll get mixed in with the others and become just a coin. Which it is.

LOL, that scene was fantastic. When my gf saw it for the first time, she made us play it again like 3 times. The scene where McNulty is drunk and keeps tying to make the turn with his car, in Season 2 is another one of those scenes...

I thought Ronin was a bit derivative of Mann's Heat.

Alpha Dog was a pleasant surprise.

Jacob's Ladder is one of my all-time favorites.

Gattaca was a snorefest, imo.
