our meltdown was our secondary - it's top 3 players getting torched all game, then us fumbling when we had a chance to run out the clock, TCU drives and scores a touchdown then we give up the two point conversion

come out with a very uncreative drive which gets aided by a bad call then the missed field goal to top it all off


Alabama's meltdown was only on special teams

Case Keenum got hurt against Louisiana Tech, they then melted down and were losing 34-7 late in the 3rd before Keenum came back in and led them back to win 35-34

La Tech is decent. Let's be honest, Houston would probably lose to 90% of the teams in the top 25. They are only ranked as a gift for playing in a weak league and having a great record.

meltdown is usually a large period of turnovers, or just screwing up in some way

I know but we gave up too many yards. Of course part of our strategy was to make them throw and make mistakes but still. Also we had some turnovers in the MSU game I believe. MSU always plays us close and they were still fired up about their season at that point of the season.
