Call it homeristic ignorance... but let's get a news thread started! Feel pretty out of touch with the ongoings of the sports programs, so hopefully this is a good way to gets some good information.
247 rates him out to a 3-star recruit... National comp rank of 1665, positional rank of 37/53, state rank of 157/195.Read about one of the Vandals' football recruits that just committed this offseason... Dylan Lemle out of California. A dual-threat QB. Had an offer from Boston College & Tennessee showed interest.

This thread is for Idaho Potato Bowl winners only... GTFOWhat in the fuck is this gay shit?
Yeah Lemle is a pretty solid recruit. Also got Colton Richardson from Lewiston at QB coming in. Should be interesting to see who wins that backup job. Will be nice to actually have a serviceable backup. I would expect Amos and Petrino to switch positions.Read about one of the Vandals' football recruits that just committed this offseason... 3 straight against 3 of the worst D1 basketball teams in the country. This year's team is really underperforming but some of that is due to Perrion Callendret being out for the year. Arguably the best player on the team. Right now Sanders is the only guy who can consistently do anything, although Blake has his moments. Team basically has no post presence.
Heard they gave Stanford a run for their money though. That's something to be excited about.3 straight against 3 of the worst D1 basketball teams in the country. You'd think after rolling off a 21 win season last year and losing only one starter they'd be decent.
Problem is Verlin doesn't like straying too far from .500 so any decent season tends to be followed by a stinker.
Good news is that the Big Sky is a bottom 5 D1 basketball conference so even when Idaho is playing like garbage they still have the likes of Southern Utah, Northern Arizona, and Idaho State to smack around.
Brutal loss... Outcoached in every facet of the game. Embarrassing really. Steelers looked awful. Hope that it makes them hungry for next year, but sadly I don't think anything will change unless the coaches pull their heads out of their own asses and change their schemes. That every-down zone coverage was pitiful.By the way @FaCe-LeE-uS sorry about that avatar. I was rooting hard for Pittsburgh on Sunday.
Thanks! Definitely looks better than anything I was able to dig up.And just FYI there's a guy on the scout board who does a great job following recruiting. Link to his thread if you're interested.

Heard that game was one of the lowest scoring Shrine games since back in the early 90's lol. Rehkow hit a FG & did a great job punting as you said. Wishin him the best in the draft! Also worth mentioning, Austin Rehkow had a pretty solid punting performance in the East West shrine game. 6 for an average of 46.8. 2 inside the 20 and another that should have been downed inside the 20. Hit on a chip shot FG but missed a 37 yarder. He's definitely more of a punter at the next level but his experience place kicking certainly doesn't hurt his value. Currently being projected as a 5th to 7th round pick.
They tend to play to the level of their competition as long as that competition isn't Duke or St. Francis school for the blind.Heard they gave Stanford a run for their money though. That's something to be excited about.
Bell going down didn't help. I know the feeling though. I'm sure you saw the Seattle-Atlanta game. Seahawks just couldn't stop shooting themselves in the foot.Brutal loss... Beau Baldwin leaving EWU to become offensive coordinator at Cal
Beau Baldwin is leaving EWU for Cal. Not for a head coaching role though. For an offensive coordinator position. He interviewed for the UNR job and got passed over.
This doesn't bode well for keeping Petrino around. Baldwin was a top 3 FCS coach and gets plucked from EWU for an OC job. Petrino has been there before, he wants a HC job. As an FCS coach he won't be given many opportunities to land an FBS position unless he pulls off a Craig Bohl-like run (not gonna happen as much as I do like Petrino as a coach). This might accelerate him getting out of here sooner rather than later.
