Is that supposed to make him admirable? Yeah, let's not ask for any help for a situation we are completely incapable of dealing with and then blame the Republican later for not realizing sooner that he was an incompetent dip shit and come and take care of this cluster fuck for him.

That's a quality leader.....

I don't blame him for the situation after the fact because it was of a scale that no mayor could deal with with his limited resources. I blame him for dragging his feet not wanting to even issue a mandatory evacuation, not having any organization to help get the people evacuated that didn't have other means available, and not having any fucking clue of what to do or set up any semblance of disaster response or even to ask immediately for help from the federal government for something that to him had to be obviously something he couldn't handle. Instead he just sat around waiting for someone else to just come take care of it. He needed to be a leader and he wasn't.
