its just matchups...who really knows...

I just couldnt see Miami getting a game in Cleveland and LeBron wouldve gotten at least one in Miami....who knows....maybe one of these years Miami will uphold its end and give us the series that we have been dying to see.

We might have to start thinking Thunder.
They might have peaked at the perfect time.
lets hope so...all though- i guess you have to be careful what you wish for....historically LeBron has owned Durant- but ya gotta say- these Thunder look to be on a mission.

The irony of RW beating the Cavs would probably cause me to bang my head against the wall repeatedly...I love watching the guy play but if the Cavs swept them I couldnt be happier.

i mean you can hate on Lue all you want...hes gotten tons of credit locally, nationally, around the team...from everyone who watches basketball and pay attention other than a precious few that have an agenda against him and the Cavs.

I'm not hating on him.
i know his role.
James does whatever he wants, whenever he wants.
If you think he actually isn't where he is for the exact same reason Tristan is, then your living in the world of Peter Pan.

if thats what you think then you simply havent been paying attention.

whatever he wants WHENEVER he wants.

if that was the case- Blatt would have been gone LAST year

if that was the case- why not just bring in CArmelo and his super friends?

if that was the case- why didnt Tristan get a MAX on Day 1 instead of settling for less than a max 5 months later?

face it- your narrative FAILS....its based on bitterness and a lot of self-loathing.

I'd go with the Cavs because of HC, but if the Thunder can beat the Spurs and Warriors back to back without it, they won't be thinking they can't win in The Land.

I've been paying attention to James for a lot of years.
He's calling all of his own shots.
Period.

Both Lue and Tristan got what they got because of who they chose to do business with.
For what other reason would you choose Klutch?

The Cavs haven't won in Miami since Lebron's return. I think they'd get one as well and probably take the series in 6. But let's not pretend like the Cavs have been dominating the Heat. There is plenty of reason to think that, if healthy, the Heat could have pulled off the upset. I wouldn't have bet any real money on it, but I wouldn't have been surprised if it happened.

1. Blatt was ignored last year by James since day 1. He was gone.
2. Carmelo isn't ever living in Cleveland.
3. LOL @ anything Tristan and his salary.
4. You're wrong on 1-3. and totally FOS on 4.

I also agree with this, based on the Heat team that played in the playoffs.
Totally healthy I wouldn't think they couldn't have won a road game, but one wouldn't have been enough.

And the cavs if healthy could have beat gs..for the record the cavs didn't beat the hawks all season and went on to sweep the shit out of them in the playoffs...

You must not have watched the games the healthy, hungry, motivated Cavs played against the Warriors this season?
I saw nothing that said Cavs would beat them 4/7.

That was my point, you could have drawn the same conclusions about the 66 win hawks, we lost every game to them during the regular season

in '07 we beat the Spurs both times in the regular season and then got swept in the Finals.

Lets all be honest and say Tristan will NEVER will be worth that money BUT what he brings to this team doesn't show up in the box scores and he is a huge part in this teams' success. Apparently, the things he does on the court is worth that money in Gilbert's eyes and Lebron's (even though it isn't his decision).

and he is only 25.

That's the thing that Wiggy fails to understand that you do. TT is not worth the money he is being paid. There are plenty of players who will bring the same stats or better for less money. However, because of cap restrictions, TT was their only option. Nothing wrong with that because to let him walk would have hurt the overall team.

Having to pay a player that kind of money is not the same as wanting to pay a player that kind of money, nor does it make them worth that kind of money.

I don't have a problem with it bc first of all it isn't my money lol and secondly bc you won't find a hardworker than TT and one of the best offensive rebounders I have seen in some time and one of the best in the NBA. He doesn't need to do much more than rebound, defend and make easy baskets but that is a role player still by definition. Apparently, role players these days get a lot more than they used to especially when the cap goes up.
