So what if the time was different. Why was it hard for him to stop what he was doing once they started to sing? Any decent person wouldn't have found that to be a problem. There's something called common courtesy. Something a lot of people lack these days.

i dont agree with LAD on much...but i gotta say...as soon as i heard the national anthem being sung and some poor girl living our her dream singing it on national TV- i stop right then and there..and wait a whole like what? 2 minutes?

regardless...it happened...just own it- and move on...dont get all high and mighty.

the Miami offense is fucking brutal

and seriously- im suspended from a thread because i said one of the reasons why id rather have Tristan Thompson is he never gets hurt- as opposed to Whiteside who is missing playoff games...

i dont get it...if Kyrie or Love got hurt all i would hear is how injury prone they are....I say how Tristan is valuable because he DOESNT get hurt- and get suspended from a thread....oh well

as i said- its just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic anyway.....just happy everyone else could see what I did- that Valunciunas is a guy youd rather have than Whiteside- ESPECIALLY because he is younger, cheaper, and a much better guy.

Chances are, during that series he might get himself banned in general.

On Dwyane Wade, national anthems and paying Canada some respect


doesnt surprise me at all

In between saying he's "always sensitive to anything" and "I'm not thinking about nothing like that" in consecutive sentences, then referring to himself in the third person before saying one disrespectful act does not a disrespectful man make, telling everyone they saw something different than him shooting during the national anthem and prioritizing an arbitrary ritual over "O Canada," I did not see an apology.

Wade was the first player lined up yesterday after adjusting his routine to work around the anthem.
He addressed it in his presser last night.
His routine is just that and although stopping for 5 minutes probably wouldn't have killed him, these guys don't like change.
They should have all been briefed on the anthems being moved up 10 minutes beforehand.

As far as that "poor girl", Julia Dale has been singing for the Heat since James first came down here.
