Didn't realize it had been so long since the ACC had won this
Yeah this was like mid 2000s ACC vs B1G challenges. The Big 10 fought well in some battles, but this was never going to be competitive
The ACC dominated the W-L as expected, but the Big 10 made them work hard.
Nah B1G got smoked. There were some games that could have gone either way for both conferences.
I had the ACC winning 10-4, but ultimately they won it 9-5, so I am pleasantly surprised. I think the ACC won the more important games too as far as projected down the road to Selection Sunday. I don't envision Wake Forest, Georgia Tech or NC State making the tournament as is. Beating Syracuse and obviously UNC are great wins for the B1G.
The ACC is now 15-5 against the B1G this year.

NCSU adds a top 10 recruit sometime before conference play starts. Would be very disappointing for #WPN if they miss the tournament this year.
I also think NW is a tournament team this year, and Wake simply isn't. Also, think Miami/RU was also an obvious mismatch.
I just never really thought that highly of NC State before the year. They have talent, but they had talent last year and were a mediocre team. I know Yurtseven(sp) is a good talent. They have no leadership on this team either. If you get blown out at Illinois, how can I expect this team to make the tournament? I'm not even sure they reach .500 in ACC play.
I think NW has a much better chance to make the tournament than NC State does.
