I think anyone who thinks he is the savior of Husker football needs to get their head checked honestly.........the kid has proven nothing to this point. I'd love to have him on the team to give him a chance to prove it though. I see there is obvious potential with the skills he has.........but shit, we're totally making assumptions that he is ready to just take over and lead this team to championships.

i don't think he was referring to anyone specifically on this board, but on many other boards, and some amigos that i have talked too, it seems like this is a fairly common belief among husker fans

As for Taylor, I will admit I am excited to see what he brings to the table this year, but I do not expect him to win the heisman or anything. He only has room to go up from where he left off last season, and who knows......maybe he grew up a lot.

Just to add to this, the only reason my or any others opinions are amplified about Bubba in particular is because he's a quarterback.
