If it were me I’d go to the bullpen for the last 6 outs. He’s thrown over 100 pitches and you need his arm in the postseason.

But don’t be surprised if he starts the 8th for at least a batter

If the Huskers lose tonight they will play the winner of today's Indiana/Minnesota game Friday (7:30 p.m.)

eh, i've only followed along and haven't watched a ton of Big Ten baseball, but stuff like that gets very individualized. look at NW having 2 first teamers and a losing record.

i couldn't find any great place for stats. found one source but for some reason it didn't have all of the players. found one for all of NCAA but no way to filter to just Big Ten which made it too complicated to look through. i gave up.

Pretty surprising that Waldron didn't get any all-conference honors.

79 strikeouts and only 6 walks on the entire year, 6-3 as a starter, 3.11 ERA, 89.2 innings pitched

Huskers were a projected 2 seed before last night's win. Pretty sure they are securely in the postseason now although I would prefer to not be in the Nashville Regional with Vandy.

Doubtful Erstad is going anywhere next year.

It's stupid to travel all the way to Texas to play a team that is a couple miles across town from you. They should just play here. At least they would have fans attend.

We used to take football teams to Florida to play in a national tournament every year. We stopped going because we were always placed in a bracket with other teams from Omaha. We decided to hold our own damn tournament right here.
