Not our skipper? I hate him, he is a pansy. Dude is a bad baseball coach, wins by out athleteing teams. Go back and look at his only title in '09 and look at who he had and you will see why they won it all. Chad Jones was an all american football player freakshow who just could do whatever he wanted on the field. Threw 93 mph left handed and played a little ball with my brother in high school actually. My favorite part, Jones didn't like to pitch. Didn't start using him on the hill till mid-season. Were probably 13 deep on that squad, all 13 would have started on every single team in the nation.

I wish I could complain about a coach who beat the best team in the country in back to back games and took my team to the Championship Series of the CWS.

Amazing season for Oregon st.

Casey is a great great skip. They will be back.

Most amazing thing I read today is either that a no 1 overall seed hasnt won since 1999 or that this will be the first year a national seed wins the title since 2011. Six years ago!!

Quoting ESPN here

"NO. 1 SEED GOES OUT AGAIN

This marks the 18th year in a row that the No. 1 national seed won't win the championship."

"With No. 3 Florida, No. 4 LSU and No. 6 TCU the remaining teams, this will be the first year since 2011 that a national seed will win the CWS."

So both are true!
