Yeah, he was lights out his first 4 games. These last 3 have been rough. But still rather have him up here getting lumped up than Bartolo Colon.

Newcomb wasn't great last night, but the offense gets the blame. You're at home and you got shut down by a 90 year old pitcher with an ERA over 5. They should all be ashamed.

Somehow I knew that getting to .500 was just a way of getting our hopes up like they always do.

I guess them sweeping the Diamondbacks got my hopes up too much. Should have known that this group of choke artists would turn around and get swept by the Cubs and take us out of the playoff picture entirely and right before a 4 game road series against the best team in baseball.

I can pretty much guarantee that we're gonna be 7 games under .500 by the time we leave LA.

I hope these motherfuckers are proud of themselves for completely shitting the bed in the most important stretch of games of the season.

Can't even win one game against the the fucking Cubs who were just .5 games ahead of us before the series, but now they'll be 3.5 games up and the Rockies have been winning too.

No playoffs this year. Trade Kemp, Adams, Phillips and Garcia and get the prospects up here. I fully expect us to be playoff contenders next season and I expect us to be active in a fairly deep free agent market this offseason, but any hope we had for sneaking into a playoff spot a year early ended today.

Ehh I don't know if worth giving up a lot of prospects for him. He is 34 and is owed $70 million through 2019 and has full no trade clause.
