Was trying to steal that extra run while up 7-0 worth it?

Probably cost his team two runs for trying that move. 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs, probably at least a 90% chance that next batter was bringing them both home given how things were going last night.

But hopefully Jaime Garcia can return to form and if nothing else, at least give us 7 innings to give our BP a break.

The Astros are clearly the best team in the Majors, and their lineup is stacked. Honestly, I'm not high on our chances tonight.

But I am confident we can keep up our hot streak against the Nats starting tomorrow, or we'd better. If we don't come away with at least a split in Washington, we'd better hope the Rockies keep on sucking because the East will probably be out of reach at that point.

The Astros pitcher tonight has an ERA over 6.

But with the way our offense has sucked lately, I don't think it will matter.

We've already won two games this season where we've allowed double digit runs. You usually MIGHT get one of those kinds of games per season. Can't see it happening tonight, and I can't see Garcia holding the Astros lineup down.

Phillips has been struggling at the plate lately. Ozzie Albies has been white hot in AAA. Ozzie Albies has much better range and catches that ball.
