If you can eat 2 seasons of paying Dan Uggla I think 13 million per after you cut him, I think you can afford to pay Colon the rest of the 12 million you owe him to send his ass packing for good.

I don't want him in the AAA rotation taking starts away from a prospect that has actual potential.

The Ben Sheets experiment a few years back worked out pretty well, and though RA Dickey hasn't been great, he's been about what I expected him to be, and has dominated a few games here along the way.

Agreed. Mistakes will always be made. Its how you respond to those mistakes that are important.

And if Freeman can hold down third base, given how Camargo has played, I'd be ok with trading Albies to get a young, quality MLB starting pitcher(Quintana, Archer, etc)
