Newcomb was great again tonight. So impressive.

Newcomb has some nasty stuff. If he improves his command he has ace potential.

Probably gonna take 10 runs to get it done tonight with Bartolo on the mound(though by far his best start of the season came against the Padres at STP, 7 innings, 1 run)

Yeah. Colon needs to take one for the team and just retire. He's been throwing batting practice pitches against major league teams this year. Tough to watch.

My patience with him ran out long ago(and the other posters in the thread can attest that I'm very patient with players).

The team is playing the best ball they've played all season, we don't need some 44 year old throwing batting practice every 5th game.
