Well there you go. As iowa fans we don't really follow recruiting since it's largely irrelevant for us. 1 in every 5 years or do we will finish in the top 10 and the other years we will win 6-8 games. Very occasionally we will have 2 or 3 really good years in a row. Been that way for like 35 years now

Huge commitment this Friday from Rashard Lawrence, DT from Neville High in Monroe, LA. Currently the 23rd rated prospect in the nation and 5th rated DT, he's deciding between Ohio State and LSU. It's generally considered that he's an LSU lean (as it should be), but even OSU and LSU insiders are saying neither staff can confidently say they know which way he's gonna go.
