"The University of Houston picked up a football commitment Tuesday from Collin Wilder, a four-star safety from perennial state powerhouse Katy.
Wilder becomes the 12th commitment for the class of 2016 to commit to the Cougars and new head coach Tom Herman. Eleven of the commitments are from the Houston area.
Wilder (5-11, 175) was previously committed to Texas Tech. He also held offers from Wisconsin, Duke, Boston College, Northwestern, SMU and Minnesota to name a few."

Herman continues eliciting verbal commits from promising prospects, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Only hope that the team's performance this season is sufficient for these youngsters to actually sign when February rolls around.
