Meh, It's how early baseball goes. Playing just well enough to get the NCAA's and peaking late May into June is what's important.

Why can't we be one of those teams who is like 42-13???

It's because we lose games we shouldn't early on. So then we have to try and make a run late with our 20 losses.

It's too early to tell what kind of team this is going to be, JJM.

Defending champs (and preseason #1) Vandy has lost to Santa Clara and Indiana St. They lost to Indiana St (1-8). The vast majority of ranked teams lose games or struggle to eke out wins against lesser opponents early.

Huskers win at Loyola Marymount 5-1 to take the series 2-1.

Huskers are sitting at (6-4) right now and have won their last 2 series.

Beginning Friday they play a couple of heavy weights in the Houston College Classic.

Fri March 6th - Texas A&M (12-0)
Sat March 7th - Hawaii (5-8)
Sun March 8th - LSU (10-1)

If I'd have known JJM was coming by, I'd have had him bring me a burrito.

If you have Direct or Dish and the proper package, you'll get all three games on Root Sports tv. If not you'll have to stream them. The LSU game's on espn3 for sure.

Root Sports TV?.... I have never heard of that.

I just checked and apparently I don't have that in my DirecTV package. Shit.

Root Sports is in the upper 600 channels somewhere on Directv. They took over the old Fox channels and are regional. I get Root Sports Rocky Mountain and the games this weekend are not shown here.

Huskers dropped their game to Texas A&M today 1-2.

I didn't get to listen to it or even look at the box score, but it must have been a pitching duel.

Hawaii tomorrow, the LSU come Sunday.

Huskers won their 2nd game of the Houston Classic 4-3 over Hawaii. They're now 1-1 overall in the tournament.

Tomorrow they play #7 LSU at 11:05 am

LSU beat #8 Houston yesterday (4-2) and are playing Baylor right now.
