WTF!? Wow that sucks. I mean, its better than him being out later in the year... but wow, that sucks.

They know he's injury prone so they don't want to risk it. If they're saying he's likely out til January I assume he may come back in December or so but gotta think he misses all of November and the start of December at least

Yeah, you're probably right. If he's going to miss a couple months of a season, might as well make it the beginning of the season. If he's really not fully healthy then its a good strategy... but resting him now doesn't mean he won't get a different injury later.

I don't like that it will make limiting LeBron's minutes harder.

I guess a positive is that it might help Love find an active role on the team.

Good thing they got Mo.

Heat with zero young legs on the roster.....only have 9 guys 29 or younger with only 3 of the 9 being older than 26. Yup 0 young legs alright.

Why are you using facts? You know how wiggy hates that.

IRving's hurt again? :L

Nope not hurt. Same injury from the finals. Due to the fact that he has not been able to stay healthy since HS, they're giving him another 3 months or so to heal up

Nope lol. Let's keep the young kid who's not injury prone out an extra 3-4 months.

This was a 3 month injury so basically he should have been good to go a little after camp opened. If he's out until January that is another 4 months

Didn't Wiggy post a couple weeks ago that he was ahead of schedule because he was able to do a layup drill with some 6 year olds during a youth camp?

So, no matter what, once again, Kyrie keeps his record unblemished as far as not playing an entire season.

My gut tells me, he'll miss more time at some point after he does return.

Been telling Wiggy forever he's injury prone and he just doesn't believe it. He thinks it's a conspiracy or something.

I seem to recall that Andrew Bynum kept having return dates extended until they figured out that his knees were falling apart. I'm sure it'll be different with Kyrie though. After all Dr. Wiggy says he's not injury prone.

Not sure how a 'pg' being out helps Love?

His role needs to be developed on his own merits.

Cavs will still win plenty of games, but what it does do is put much more of a burden on James.
Went through the same stuff here with Wade.
James is piling up the mileage on body. This certainly won't thrill him.

"Irving was originally given a 3-4 month window for recovery, but Cleveland has to be cautious with its 23-year-old star given his lengthy injury history. The Plain Dealer reports the "chances are slim" of Irving playing in the season opener on Oct. 27 in Chicago against the Bulls."

Lengthy injury history?:noidea:

Maybe Wiggy will sue the Plain Dealer for slander on Kyries behalf?

No doubt they'll win plenty of games. The east is weak and they have Lebron. The question will be how much more mileage they will have to put on him and how much it wears him down for the playoffs. I thought Kobe looked tired in the playoffs in the season after the back to back and he hadn't been to 5 straight finals like Lebron has.
