I like Miami.

They got a nice little squad down there that can do some damage in the post-season.

They might not rack up as many regular season wins, but they have a punchers chance to come out of the East.

Wade, Dragic, Deng, Bosh, Whiteside

That is a really solid and balanced starting 5.

Without LBJ the Cavs would never have even made it to the playoffs.

I can agree there. But when it came to winning a title he wasn't the difference maker since it didn't happen for them.

They're starting lineup is solid. It's about Wade being healthy and Whiteside at least coming close to how he played last season after the Heat picked him up. They'll have Bosh and a full training camp with Dragic.

If Whiteside is real and Wade is healthy, they will be very dangerous.

The good thing about the Heat roster this year is that if Wade miss a few games which should be expected, it won't feel like the end of the world anymore because we are now a balanced team with a solid bench.

His supporting cast was too weak without Irving and Love in the lineup. He did lead them to 2 wins despite the shortcomings.

funny that a friend of mine was actually kinda upset over one aspect of it, though. he wanted the W's to lose because he hates the "small ball" trend he sees in the NBA...

Agree and if they can get to the playoffs with Wade healthy, the experience that he and Bosh have will be a big factor.

I think the East will be between the Cavs, Heat and Bulls with 2 of those 3 playing in the ECF. That's assuming all 3 can stay relatively healthy of course, since they all have at least one main player with injury issues.

Not to me.
We added Whiteside, Dragic...struggled cause of injuries as well as lack of shooters...which got as Winslow.

If you asked me today would I rather have those 3 additions or a now +30 James for the next 5 years, I'll take the Heat 3 because we can keep on adding.
You guys appear to pretty much the same bunch ( that lost) last year moving forward for quite some time unless James bolts after you lose next year.

Or look at it another way, we started the season with 3 titles, ended it with 3.
You guys started with 0 titles and ended it with 0.

Not sure what your big advantage was.

Stupid fouls is his biggest opponent because he tries to block every shot.
Hopefully he'll learn to pick and choose his spots.

I image Cavs/Warriors on Christmas.

We shouldn't get a Christmas game this year unless maybe an early filler vs Knicks.

Hopefully we don't play the Cavs right away.

I could see them putting us in the evening slot against the Bulls but IMO the 2 major games (the games on ABC) will likely feature the Clippers and Cavs. I can't see them possibly putting the Lakers on Christmas day (in the major time slot) after their season last year. I will say probably Cavs/Thunder and Warriors/Clippers
