I never saw that from USA Today, I saw it from SB Nation this week.
I havent heard anything from the Thompson deal in days.

Neither have I, but same question to you.

What is fair market value on a UFA with no other offers, who isn't even a starter on a team who has a max player in the same position?

Agree, "but fire requires being proved guilty in a court of law"---O.J and Casey Anthony in a combined statement.
True - but OJ is in jail and Casey Anthony is in Jail too (Working in Walmart in western Florida)

Source tells ESPN that there is no Tristan Thompson deal imminent w/ CLE just because of the LeBron agreement: "Not a package"

ESPN AND USA TODAY.......but BK is probably right- def trust him over ESPN and USA Today...right? lol

Maybe they are accurate, maybe they are having smoke blown up there ass just so they report it to maker James look good. We don't know, but I do FACTUALLY know that reporters run with wrong info all the time.

So, WHAT SHOULD HE BE PAID??

If James' truly not involved its 13M or LESS based on their cap prediction.
If James is involved and he knows its 18-19M, then it makes ZERO difference what order they announce.

August 1 Haywood becomes guaranteed so there is plenty of time.

Yah- crawford and mo are kinda redundant...

i dunno- we shall see i guess

congrats on DJ coming back! it was real shady but at the end of the day you just added Stephenson and Pierce to a team taht beat the Spurs...gotta be pumped.

He should have handled it better.

But, I'm relieved.

Your copy/pastes PROVE nothing.
I know that with your Miller nonsense.

If he's paid fairly I will go on record and say you are 1000% correct, when he gets his 18-19M though, you will know you were just fed another plate of LeBron bullshit.

It doesnt matter what he should get paid. The point is you said he was waiting on Tristan to sign, if he doesnt and you and other sources were wrong. We have heard about it for over a week. So now we wait.

The NBA's free agency moratorium is even longer the next two years. Contracts can't be signed until July 12.

Awesome :gaah:

Quicken actually stayed away from the bad loans for the most part that swamped the mortgage industry.

Its why Gilbert has gone from 1.5 to 4 billion the last few years...but- yah- i get the joke, lol

There are actually rumors of Gilbert running book while an undergrad at I believe MSU and using strong arm tactics to collect, lol....

If they can prove he created or was any part of fraud to get the loans approved, he will be in prison.
Bad FDA loans still would have been paid, which could have accounted for his huge net worth gain.

I'd trade Randle, Young and a 2nd rounder to Dallas to do that so Kobe and Dirk could make 1last run with Russell, Clarkson and Soft Helmet Roy.

Hmmmmm......Tanking would have probably been an option if Wes wasn't determined to sign.

why not trade Kobe? at the deadline if you are far out of it....its awful hard to wrangle up 25M in salary coming the other way is the only problem.

No trade clause.

Where would he go any way?

The Cavs?..No.

The Spurs? Hell no.

The Warriors?...Well, maybe if they still had Lee's contract.

The Thunder?....They would have to give up Ibaka and more..So, no.

* This ends the list of contenders*

No way.
The point all along was that James was going to use his influence to make sure Tristan was overpaid.
James KNOWS what the number is or he would not have signed PERIOD, is my strong opinion and when we see the numbers it will validate one of us.

The only people who KNOW exactly when he signed or will sign are maybe a group of 3?
What's reported in that regard means nothing, because it's what THEY are telling the reporters.

*Ummmm, Errrr, Various sounds of hesitation*

Even with Kobe's injury History, that would be a shit deal for the Lakers.

How many more years does Rose have left?

He is/was/maybe can be again/ a great player.

But, his knees are being held together by wet spiderwebs...lol

Plus, they have Russell...

I honestly kinda like DJ's suggestion.

Dirk to the Lakers.

But, the one Team Cuban probably still hates more than the Clippers are the Lakers!
