He's no Jim buss that's for sure

Gilbert is self made. Buss is another example of failed nepotism. At least thus far

k, but that STILL doesn't take away the fact that Gilbert's a complete and utter dick...

try and deflect that all you like...

not Buss's fault he was born into daddy's money...

imo, this says WAY more about DeAndre than it does about the Clippers, though. the guy seems gutless, weak minded, and utterly wishy washy...
I mean it sounded like He was too weak minded and really loved having his ego stroked by Dallas but then balked at the responsibility

It comes as absolutely zero surprise heat and lakers fans have a special place in their hearts for Dan. After cp3 and Bron

It comes as zero surprise that you can't name one player, ever, who said they were choosing to play for the Cavs because of favorable reasons for the owner or FO.

Gilbert as far as NBA talk is totally irrelevant except for 3 instances.

1. The James letter the night he left. Followed by his collusion witch hunt threats.
2. His stance at the last CBA pushing for a hard cap.
3. Him now backtracking on both 1 and 2 by handing control of his team to 'the self appointed King' and paying prob over 125M in partially worthless tax money because he's afraid if he doesn't he'll be forced to write The Letter II.

Don't forget about punking Arison for Lebron

Or teaming with Cuban to spearhead the effort to get the lakers cp deal vetoed

Or this season having the highest paid nba team in the history of the sport

I really think the realization that Lebron was the whole team did not hit you until the heat won 37 games and fell apart without him and it has really really made you bitter

Just remember. Gilbert owns you lol

Punked Arison?
Arison prob told him to take his demand list and shove it up his ass which in turn lead to the idea of James people going to see if Gilbert was willing to do exactly what he's doing.

You think Arison NEEDS James in any way?
You keep forgetting that billionaires don't in any other circumstance bow down to millionaires.

Thanks for answering the question though.
Whose on that list?

Is this all you guys talk about? Seriously.

You guys killed this thread which got off to a tremendous start by talking Heat/Cavs all day nonstop for the last week or so

Scola to Toronto
I can't believe Toronto didn't get a good power forward. It's a huge hole for them. Scotland is a solid bench guy

Lowry derozan backcourt. Carroll and Ross on the wing. Valunciunas is a solid center.

There are a ton of good power forwards around. It's pretty bad that they actually have a solid squad but can't figure that position out

WTF are you rambling about now?

I sat through a 16 win season watching D Leaguers. Can't say it was tons of fun, but it is what it is.

Shit happens. Injuries are a factor. Ask the Thunder. Did they "fall apart"?

Ask Cavs fans about their 7 man rotation in the Finals.
Ask Kyrie who is "sure" the Cavs would have won is healthy.
I love our roster this year and I understand our roster last year.

I've said forever that it's entertainment first.
I've been in the AAA to see 4 teams crowned champions.

Real truth. It's fun, but it's overrated.
It's more relief.
But once it's done , and the parades over, it's done.

Ask any Warrior fan here.

Thornton would be an interesting guy to bring in. Amare was kinda useless in Dallas. Thornton if I am not mistaken isn't a great % shooter- is more of a streak shooter to give some scoring punch off the best. Anything that takes minutes away from Tyler Johnson (is that his name?) can't be bad

Too funny. You guys should pay lotto rent cause you practically live there every year LeBron isn't there.

If you recall, I was HOPING to fall out of the playoffs last season.

Apparently our 1 year there secured us the likely steal of the draft who is only 19.

Teams need players like that and there no other ways to get them, unless the Cavs trade you the ROY for a misfit with a bum back and shoulder.

Like you know so much about Tyler.
You praise Delly though?

Same type of player but Tyler is 100x the better athlete.
