He had a perfect fit in LA, they were a title contender and were gonna pay him a crazy amount of money. Going to Dallas he's on a team that could be a 7-8 seed but probably won't contend. He must have really had a problem with CP3 or someone else on that team.

I think the Wiz or Indy might be interested in Crawford, who is our only trade chip.

I wouldnt be surprised if he signed today. Then all the others teams can start signing their guys, making trades, etc.

Exactly!!! Please let the drooling over LA be over so we sign Kosta Koufos, Tobias Harris, and our 3 minor leaguers!

Being so weak defensively last season, I really began to warm up to Robin Lopez. Not sure what Koufos brings on that side of the ball?! Or offensively?

Really hoping we can bring Tobias Harris in to fill the SF.

But, like Shanesman said, Aldridge needs to sign, so the dominoes can begin to fall!

What do you mean what's going on? The Lakers are rebuilding and LA is 30.

People are making this a huge deal because its the Lakers. It's not the end of the world. It's hard to bring big time free agents to a team who's 3 future pieces are basically unproven

Yes, he has, especially veteran guys. It would take time but he could be a coach or a GM. He just has the "it" factor. Good at persuading---he would do just fine.

Lebron has never recruited anyone to play FOR him. Not once. He has always recruited players to play WITH him. You haven't got a clue as to how he will do trying to recruit players to Cleveland when he's not going to be on the court with him.

Recruiting someone to play WITH you when you are the best player in the world is easy. It virtually guarantees a deep playoff run, if not a championship. Recruiting someone to play FOR you when you aren't the best player in the world anymore and not even going to be on the court, is a completely different animal.

Bc "the big 3" wanted to play together. No way he was getting Wade and Bosh to Cleveland. Nobody is that good, cmon now. The fact is he is very good at persuading.

The only person he's ever successfully persuaded in the NBA is Dan Gilbert and he had to leave for 4 years to do that.

I'm pretty content throwing out Kobe, Russell, Clarkson and Randle.

But, if we have a shot we have to trade Russell (and another asset or get a 3rd team involved) to get Cousins. He's a legit center and arguably the best one in the league.
